CARSTAR Calgary McKnight is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Repair Technician who meets the following criteria:
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in auto body repair
- Skills:
- Proficient in dismantling, welding, sheet metal work, filler application, and reassembly
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attributes:
- Positive, cheerful, and respectful attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement
- Certifications (preferred but not required):
- Journeyman or Red Seal Certification in Auto Body Repair (minimum third year apprentice)
- Welding certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Compensation
- I-CAR Platinum Red Seal Journeyperson $40 flat rate
- Red Seal Journeyperson $30-$35 flat rate
- 4th Period Apprentice $25.50 - $29.75 flat rate
- 3rd Period Apprentice $24 - $28 flat rate
- Training
- Company-paid I-CAR training
- Red Seal Journeyperson will earn retroactive wages @ $40/hour flat if they complete their I-CAR Platinum program within three months of hire
