Please note: This role requires a certified Journeyman Electrician.

Shift Schedule:
The schedule follows an 8/6 rotation, running Thursday to Thursday with 12-hour shifts.

Hours Per Day:
12

Travel:

Flights are available from both Edmonton and Calgary

Trade / Scope Specific responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  1. Inspect existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  2. Diagnose the condition of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  3. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  4. Recommend best-fit solutions for electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  5. Service and repair electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  6. Construct new trade infrastructure.
  7. Assemble and install new and replacement electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  8. Communicate inspection results, diagnoses, preventative maintenance, recommendations, construction, service/repair, and installation of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  9. Document inspection results, diagnoses, preventative maintenance, recommendations, construction, service/repair, and installation of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  10. Follow safety guidelines, approved processes, and procedures on the job site.
  11. Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.
  12. Work cohesively with teams of employees or contractors.
  13. Communicate in a polite and courteous manner.

Administrative responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  1. Accurate completion and timely submission of daily time tickets.
  2. Accurate completion and timely submission of work order-related documentation as required.
  3. Accurate completion and timely submission of expenses.
  4. Thorough completion and timely submission of required safety documentation (including, but not limited to, task field level hazard assessments, daily toolbox forms, required work permits, hazard ID cards, behavior-based observation cards, vehicle inspection forms, lockout/tagout forms, near miss reports, and incident reports).
