At McGillivray Capital Partners (MCP), our team has achieved the objective to create Diversified Investment Funds focused on equity capital across institutional-grade development projects – providing investors access to a variety of different asset types, and premium locations in a single Fund. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a new Investor Relations Administrator who will play an integral role in this growth in the day-to-day communications and marketing to potential and existing investors in the Scott McGillivray Real Estate Fund.

Reporting to the Director, Private Capital Markets and working closely with the Director, Marketing & Communications and the extended MCP Private Capital Markets team, this role will be tasked with the following:

Investor Relations
  • Act as the first point of contact for potential leads by acting as a call booking agent and initiating conversations, qualifying leads, and arranging calls for the private capital markets team
  • Conduct follow-ups with leads by either telephone call, text, or email
  • Manage follow-up sequencing, tracking leads through various stages of the onboarding process
  • Build and maintain lists of current and prospective investors
  • Create and track deals in our CRM (active campaign) and ensure leads are entered/updated/shared with the private capital markets team
  • Contribute to the development of Investor Relations communication materials, including ad hoc communications
  • Communicate with investors any important updates
Reporting & Administration
  • Manage current investor and prospective investor inquiries into the shared inbox
  • Assist in providing a weekly summary report on Call Booking Progress, Pipeline Stages Tracking, Investor Tracking, Lead Conversion, Capital raise
  • Handle closing reconciliation, transfer status updates, and welcome letters for new investors
  • Coordinate with external Partners to ensure consistency and accuracy in preparation for monthly closings
  • Request applicable weekly updates from senior team members
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Market research into competitors and peers in the industry
  • Participate, action, and provide input regarding the MCP Marketing & Admin Action Tracker
Marketing
  • Contribute to identifying and evaluating new marketing opportunities
  • Collaborate in the creation of marketing materials for events and initiatives such as one-pagers, marketing banners, event presentations (including webinars), investor presentations, and more
  • Support the setup and execution of various marketing events, including summits, conferences, home shows, investor appreciation gatherings, and internal offsite meetings
  • Assist in the management of McGillivray Capital Partners' social media accounts (including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) and other media outlets to keep accounts active, grow their following, and gain trust in the market
  • Provide the Director, Marketing & Communications with timely and regular feedback about initial lead quality

What We're Looking for in a Standout Candidate:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sales, or a related field
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in an administrative and/or client-facing role (recent graduates welcome with applicable internship experience)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Enthusiastic and proactive in handling phone outreach as the first point of contact for prospective investors
  • Driven, detail-oriented, and hardworking with a positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Maturity and high standards of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and quickly identify and adapt to changing priorities
