A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER

As a Project Manager, you play a key role in ensuring that projects are completed on time to our quality standards. To the property owner, adjuster, and insurance company, you are the face of our company. You establish trust as you consult with clients about projects, answering their questions and following up with them to ensure complete satisfaction. You prepare accurate quotations, job costing, and estimating.

Throughout each project you manage, you inspect progress and work quality to ensure that emergency and rebuild timelines are met and in alignment with policy and guidelines. You manage all sorts of restoration claims including water damage, fire damage to both residential and commercial properties. As necessary, you resolve disputes and complaints cheerfully and in a professional manner. The strong relationships you build with home/business owners, adjusters, property managers, and other key players assist you in generating new leads. Your knowledge of the restoration/construction industry, your skills as an estimator, and your knack for sales help you excel in this project management position.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience (MUST HAVE) in restoration or insurance

  • Solid understanding of building construction and local codes - you speak the language of permits, structure, and compliance.

  • Xactimate level 1 or 2 - scoping, sketching, and estimating are second nature to you.

  • Budget-savvy mindset - you plan, monitor, and stick to budgets like it's your superpower.

  • A valid driver's license and clean criminal record - because reliability and trust go hand-in-hand.

  • Comfort with being on-call - emergencies don't keep business hours, and neither do we.

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves - tasks may include physical work, lifting materials, climbing ladders, squeezing into tight spots (yes, attics and crawlspaces), and sometimes wearing a respirator.
