POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a seasonal Sign Shop Labourer to join our team! As a vital member of the production team, the Sign Shop Technician is responsible for making standard and custom signs. This includes but is not limited to substrate preparation, lamination, application of vinyl and digitally printed graphics, and maintaining inventory control. This role responds to critical production areas of the business
Please note, as this is a seasonal position, there is an expected capacity until October/November

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare vinyl and digitally printed materials for application
- Prepare various substrates
- Complete data entry
- Assist in other production tasks
- Operation of roller table and other equipment/tools
- Assist in quality control of all production
- Work individually and in a team setting
- Maintain accurate stock and materials records
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Dependability and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for extended periods of time, handle power tools and other equipment, and bend/reach over working tables
- General working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, google docs
- Ability to balance quality, speed, and attention to detail
HOURS OF WORK
The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
