Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
Assign duties, set priorities, and monitor performance across a team of 11–15 service professionals.
Evaluate department operations and implement process improvements where needed.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and service issues with professionalism and urgency.
Monitor inventory and supply levels to prevent shortages and delays.
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture with a focus on service excellence.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a service or operations leadership role, preferably in an agricultural, construction equipment or trucking service setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
No formal post-secondary education required, but practical leadership experience is essential.
Proficient in using:
Electronic scheduling systems
Word processing and spreadsheet software
Inventory control and email communication tools (e.g., MS Outlook)
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Prior experience in a related field is required
