Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.

  • Assign duties, set priorities, and monitor performance across a team of 11–15 service professionals.

  • Evaluate department operations and implement process improvements where needed.

  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and service issues with professionalism and urgency.

  • Monitor inventory and supply levels to prevent shortages and delays.

  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture with a focus on service excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a service or operations leadership role, preferably in an agricultural, construction equipment or trucking service setting.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

  • No formal post-secondary education required, but practical leadership experience is essential.

  • Proficient in using:

  • Electronic scheduling systems

  • Word processing and spreadsheet software

  • Inventory control and email communication tools (e.g., MS Outlook)

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

  • Prior experience in a related field is required
