We are urgently hiring Administrative Assistant for our client in Guelph.
The Administrative Assistant provides multi-department support for a variety of administrative tasks to meet time sensitive deadlines. Assists with various housekeeping, scheduling of miscellaneous services and office inventory supplies.
Mandatory Requirements
- College or University diploma business administration an asset
- 1+ years' of administrative experience
- Technology savvy, Intermediate level MS Office Suite, Adobe
Job Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office functions
- Answers 5 to 9 line telephone systems, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, data archiving, copying, binding, scanning, organizing file systems for annual re-creation
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.
- Makes travel arrangements for senior staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Maintains supplies inventory, checks stock and places Supplier orders expediting when appropriate for departmental special projects
- works on floor with picking, packing, sorting and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Contributes to team effort as the ‘Go To' person when needed
