What You'll Learn & Do: As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work closely with experienced journeymen and master carpenters, gaining practical skills and knowledge in various aspects of carpentry. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with Site Preparation: Helping to clear and prepare construction sites, including material handling and organization.

• Framing & Structure: Learning and assisting with the erection of walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components for various building types (e.g., modular homes, traditional builds).

• Measuring & Cutting: Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, steel, and other materials according to blueprints and instructions.

• Installation: Assisting with the installation of windows, doors, stairs, cabinetry, and interior/exterior finishes.

• Safety Adherence: Strictly following all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Tool Proficiency: Learning to safely and efficiently use a wide range of hand and power tools common in carpentry.

• Reading Blueprints: Developing the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Team Collaboration: Working effectively as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.

• Site Clean-up: Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
