Position: Director of Sales & Marketing
Location: Western Canada – Luxury Mountain Resort
Status: Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking a visionary and highly motivated Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the strategic repositioning of a world-renowned 5-star luxury resort located in one of Canada's most iconic national parks.
You will oversee all Sales, Revenue, Marketing, Public Relations, and Conference Services functions, with a focus on digital leadership, team development, and repositioning the resort as a premier, year-round destination for affluent travelers. This is a unique chance to blend luxury hospitality leadership with a lifestyle rooted in natural beauty, adventure, and community.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Sales, Marketing, PR, Revenue, and Conference Services teams to exceed revenue and positioning goals.
Collaborate with regional DOSMs and external tourism/destination partners.
Drive digital marketing strategies, content creation, social presence, and campaign alignment.
Oversee the integration and launch of new wellness/lifestyle offerings as part of the resort's repositioning.
Champion Transient segment growth and group sales development.
Maintain ownership communications, reporting, budget oversight, and performance analysis.
Ensure brand standards and elevate the property's presence across paid, owned, and earned media.
Proven leadership as Director or Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing in luxury hospitality.
Resort or remote destination experience strongly preferred.
Digital marketing and content strategy experience essential.
Deep understanding of Group, Transient, Consortia, and Tour/FIT market segments.
Data-driven, creative, and team-focused leader with excellent communication skills.
Ability to live onsite or relocate to a remote mountain destination.
