Job Description: Cannabis Cultivation Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Cannabis Cultivation Technician to support the daily care and maintenance of cannabis plants from clone to harvest. Responsibilities include setting up flower rooms, trellis systems, and performing tasks such as pruning, defoliation, and topping. The ideal candidate will have experience in agriculture, greenhouse operations, or cannabis cultivation, and be comfortable working in hot, humid environments while adhering to strict cleanliness, compliance, and safety standards.

• Assist in the setup of flower rooms, including layout, lighting, and environmental controls

• Install and maintain proper trellis systems for plant support

• Perform all aspects of plant care across all stages: cloning, vegetative growth, and flowering

• Conduct routine pruning, defoliation, topping, and other cultivation techniques to maximize plant health and yields

• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in all grow areas, ensuring strict adherence to hygiene protocols

• Follow all Health Canada CTLS regulations and internal compliance procedures

• Operate in alignment with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Wear PPE (personal protective equipment) including masks and respirators as required

• Uphold health & safety standards and report potential hazards

• Experience in agriculture, cannabis cultivation, greenhouses, garden centers, or similar industries

• Strong interest in Cannabis Cultivation and willingness to learn industry-specific practices

• 18+ years of age

• Able to pass a criminal background check

• Comfortable working in hot and humid conditions on a regular basis

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed

• High level of integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Team player with a collaborative attitude

• Exposure to humid, warm conditions typical of indoor grow environments

• Physically demanding role, requiring standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift

• Use of PPE for extended periods
