Position SummaryThe Enhancement Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing the execution of enhancement and hardscape projects. This includes coordinating teams, managing equipment, and ensuring job completion meets quality, safety, and budget standards.
You'll supervise the day-to-day operations of the crew, maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations. This role requires both leadership and hands-on technical skills.
What You'll DoLead and supervise a crew of 4–5 team members
Operate heavy equipment: mini excavators, skid steers, loaders
Plan daily tasks and manage schedules
Order and coordinate materials and equipment efficiently
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Complete daily logs, safety documentation (JSAs, Toolbox Talks)
Maintain tools, equipment, and job site safety standards
Troubleshoot issues and resolve them in the field
Guide the crew in following zoning laws, regulations, and designs
Train and support new and returning team members
Communicate with management regarding progress, safety, and concerns
Assist with winter operations and duties during off-season
2–3 years of experience in landscaping or property maintenance
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience
Skilled in operating landscaping equipment
Valid driver's license with clean abstract
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work physically demanding days
Tech-savvy with site apps like Aspire and SiteDocs (or willing to learn)
