The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity to be apart of a team in a niche area of Law. The Legal and Special Accounts, this team is responsible for the recovery of balances for defaulted clients for busy factoring company providing services in multiple countries and offices. The opportunity comes with an unlimited possibility to grow and learn.
Note: This role requires full-time presence in office and cannot be occupied remotely.
Responsibilities:

• Calling Clients to discuss repayment/negotiating repayment plans with clients on deficient accounts.
• Sending Demand Letters
• Conduct investigations and research.
• Handle communications with various intercompany departments.
• Compiling and summarizing circumstance and filing Claims.
• Liaison between service providers and the Company
• Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence.
• Willingness to learn new jurisdictions and US processes

Qualifications:

• Legal Assistant Diploma or relevant education/ work experience
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Working knowledge of the legal system.
• Experience drafting Small Claims Court Documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with a variety of computer software programs - Microsoft Office.
• Proficient with legal data base software - Clio
• Ability to have difficult conversations with clients regarding unpaid balances, credit reporting and settlement negotiations.
