At this time we are seeking an Analyst .Net Engineer (L1). While this position is remotely based, the ideal candidate will reside in Ontario Canada. This role will report to a Lead Engineer and be responsible for enhancing an existing product offering.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Enthusiastic about crafting responsive, and intuitive user experiences using modern, future-ready web technologies
- Comfortable collaborating across global teams and time zones
- Advocate for and actively contribute to agile development practices
- Develop rich web interfaces using .NET and Blazor frameworks
- Ability to quickly understand customer workflows and challenges, and effectively translate them into technical solutions
- Strong eye for visual design with a focus on creating polished, user-centered interfaces
- Deep appreciation for interactive design and usability principles in web application development
- Proficient in diagnosing user-reported issues and implementing effective fixes
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Strong expertise in Blazor and .NET 8 or newer
- Proficient in C# and asynchronous programming techniques
- Hands-on experience with source control systems such as Git and development tools like Visual Studio, including CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and web service development
- Experience with automated unit testing using NUnit or similar frameworks
- Skilled in designing and developing both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB)
