Lead Inspector Afternoons
Responsibilities:
- Prepare work instructions.
- Provide work instruction and hands-on training for all Inspectors for respective sort.
- Gather and review data in Vantage.
- Authorize daily time sheets for assigned Inspectors.
- Complete Inspector Competency reviews.
- Provide input into Inspector Performance Appraisals.
- Participate in orientation and training requirements for Inspectors.
- Liaise with Company Customer Representative for relevant Customers.
- Communicate (on and off-site) with Customers.
Training/Prerequisites:
- Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance as some local travel is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Flexibility to meet customer service demands.
- Familiarity with all ISO standards.
- Grade 12 diploma / GED; post-secondary education preferred.
- No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted.
- Successful completion of company medical.
Additional Information:
- Local vehicle travel is required.
- Workweek: Tuesday - Saturday starting August 13th.
- Training in Kitchener on Saturdays.
- After training, Lead Inspectors will be stationed in Woodstock; until training is complete, from the first to the second week of September, they will be based out of the "new Kitchener Location".
- Once training is complete, Lead Inspectors will move to a Monday to Friday schedule on their respective day/afternoon shift.
- Overtime is mandatory.
