Job Description

· Process high-volume invoices in a timely and accurate manner

· Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper documentation and approvals

· Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams regarding billing issues

· Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers

· Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies and tax requirements (W-9s, 1099s)

· Assist with month-end close activities including accruals and reporting

· Reconcile AP sub-ledger to general ledger

· Collaborate with the purchasing and receiving departments to resolve any variances

· Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong professional relationships

What you Need:

· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

· 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a Construction retail or high-volume environment

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAGE NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
