What youll be doing:
- Client Support (Primary Role):
- Provide personal care and assistance with hygiene, mobility, dressing, feeding, and medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support to seniors in their homes or retirement communities
- Assist with light housekeeping, errands, and accompany clients to appointments
- Accurately document visits and communicate any client changes to care supervisors
- Build meaningful rapport with clients and their families
- Provide personal care and assistance with hygiene, mobility, dressing, feeding, and medication reminders
- Administrative & Office Support (Secondary Role when not on PSW shift):
- Answer client calls and inquiries, manage digital records, and support shift scheduling
- Help with the onboarding process of new staff and maintain client files
- Assist in community outreach and represent the company at events or facility presentations
- Develop and deliver presentations using PowerPoint or other tools to promote services to referral sources, partners, and potential clients
- Support social media updates, email follow-ups, and marketing coordination
- Minimum 2 years of Canadian work experience as a Personal Support Worker
- PSW certificate from a recognized institution
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Confident in small-group presentations and public-facing interactions
- Valid Ontario drivers license and access to a personal vehicle
- Ability to travel within Kitchener, Waterloo and nearby areas
