Centennial Auto Sport & Tire Charlottetown is looking for a Motorcycle Technician Apprentice that is eager to learn, and ready to be a trusted part of a skilled team.

NOW HIRING: Motorcycle Technician Apprentice

LOCATION: Centennial Auto Sport & Tire Charlottetown

HOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40-45 hours per week 8am-5pm. Saturday morning rotations 8am-12pm.

WAGES: $40,000 to $55,000 annually + benefits (negotiable based on experience).

APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in powersports, small engine, or automotive repair is a strong asset
  • Must be reliable, take initiative, and hold yourself accountable for your work
  • Strong attention to detail and always prioritize safety
  • Strong multitasking and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Valid Canadian drivers license is required
  • Physically capable of lifting approximately 50lbs and performing tasks like bending, crouching, and reaching.
  • Additional training will be provided for the right candidate

MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcycles, ATVs, and other powersports vehicles with care and accuracy
  • Thoroughly inspect and prep new units to ensure they are road-ready and meet safety and quality standards
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of work performed
  • Stay current with manufacturer training and industry developments
  • Proactively identify potential issues and take ownership of resolving them
  • Provide friendly and professional service to customers
  • Support the team by assisting with additional tasks as needed
