THE BRAND
Now in its 15th year, with over 100 locations across four countries, and the winner of the Global Franchise Award for Best Health & Beauty Franchise in 2025, Tommy Gun's Original Barbershop is one of Canada's most recognized Barbershop brands. As we continue to scale our creative capabilities in line with our global growth, we are looking for a part-time Graphic Designer to join our team.
This role will report to the VP of Marketing and work under the guidance of the Global Design Lead and Lead Designer. The successful candidate will support both franchise-facing and internal creative projects, assisting to ensure visual cohesion across Brick & Mortar, Digital, and Social Media touchpoints.
THE ROLE
This will begin as a part-time position estimated at 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. The primary mandate is to help bring the Tommy Gun's brand to life across multiple mediums
Core Responsibilities:
- Retail Print Collateral – National retail and brand campaigns
- Digital Design – Social media graphics, email headers, web banners, digital ads
- Motion & Video Assets – Simple motion graphics, promotional editing
- Local Area Marketing – Signage, brand partnerships, coupons
All deliverables must align with the established brand standards, tone, and visual identity of Tommy Gun's
WHO YOU ARE
You're a collaborative, organized, and adaptable designer with a keen eye for brand storytelling and consistency. You're comfortable in a multi-project environment and are excited to contribute to a team that balances creativity and timely execution.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Comfortable working with brand guidelines with attention to detail
- Resides in or near Kelowna, BC
- Strong ability to communicate effectively
Nice To Haves:
- Familiarity with Figma, Canva, and motion tools such as After Effects or Premiere Pro
- Understanding of project management tools such as Monday.com
- Experience in social media design and ad creation
- Knowledge of print production processes
- Interest in lifestyle, grooming, or retail sector
