We're Hiring: Construction Estimator
Location: Western Canada (Exact location shared upon application)
Job Type: Full-Time | Industry: Commercial, Light Industrial, Vertical Civil Construction
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

• Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and tender forms

• Prepare preliminary budgets and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and subcontractors

• Conduct quantity takeoffs using industry-standard software

• Coordinate competitive bids from suppliers and subcontractors

• Develop project schedules and logistics plans

• Analyze risks and opportunities; propose mitigation strategies

• Participate in bid review presentations and project kickoff meetings

• Provide cost support for change orders and project variations

• Continuously improve estimating tools, processes, and templates

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

• 5-8 years of estimating experience with a general contractor in Western Canada

• Proven background in projects ranging from $2M to $40M in commercial, light industrial, or vertical civil construction

• Proficiency with construction software (e.g., ACC), Microsoft Office Suite, and project scheduling tools

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specs, and Canadian contract formats (e.g., CCDC 2, 5B, 14)

• Gold Seal Certification (in progress or willing to pursue); PQS or CEC certification is an asset
