Our behalf of our client located in Stony Plain, AB., we are seeking an Administrative Assistant to cover a medical leave. This is a not-for-profit association with members. We are looking for someone who has a great work ethic, proficiency on MS Office, is organized, a strong communicator and enjoys working in a fast pace environment The successful candidate must have 2 years of experience in an office setting. Be self directed and complete work on tight timelines and accurately. You will be extremely reliable, team spirited and willing to do a variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake and processing of grant applications
- Communicate with applicants and support review processes
- Track deadlines, reports, and funding documentation
- Assist with basic communications like reports, updates, or event coordination
Job Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage timelines and multitask effectively
- Proficiency in writing for professional purposes (e.g., emails, reports, summaries)
This is an immediate opportunity. It will start out Temporarily with potential to become permanent if both parties are agreeable
Hours:
- 9am-4pm
- 1/2 hour lunch
