Job Description
  • Oversee the installation of tooling and equipment in an automotive manufacturing setting, ensuring efficiency and adherence to industry standards.
  • Develop and prepare bid packages for tooling installation projects, utilizing the 15% of tooling cost method.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align tooling installation projects with overall production timelines.
  • Monitor and manage the tool installation process to meet specified deadlines
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  • Maintain continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve tooling installation processes.
  • Develop and manage the budget for tooling installation, ensuring optimal use of resources and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in tooling and equipment installations within the automotive industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale installation projects.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and cost analysis, particularly in preparing bid packages using the 15% of tooling cost method.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations related to automotive tooling and equipment installation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
