We are seeking a reliable and skilled Point of Sale Equipment Repair Technician to join our service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Point of Sale (POS) hardware, with a focus on Lexmark printers, Epson receipt printers, and touchscreen monitors. This role also includes general warehouse duties, equipment staging, and lifting items up to 80 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair various POS hardware components including:
    • Lexmark laser printers
    • Epson receipt printers
    • Touchscreen monitors and terminals
  • Perform testing and quality control on repaired units.
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records in tracking systems.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing hardware shipments.
  • Assist with inventory control and organization in the warehouse.
  • Prepare hardware for deployment (cleaning, configuring, staging).
  • Package and palletize equipment for shipping.
  • Follow safety protocols for equipment handling and lifting.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in electronics or hardware repair, preferably with POS systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to repair Lexmark and Epson printer models.
  • Experience with touchscreen hardware and related POS components.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware drivers.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 80 lbs regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Assets (Nice to Have):

  • Previous experience in a technical warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and repair documentation.
  • Certification in electronics or printer repair is a plus.
