The role of Technical Analyst is to understand the Application landscape and the existing as well as changing needs of the application. A Technical Analyst will assess the application, upstream and downstream to analyze requirements, processes, and information systems, and will also help drive the business in the right direction by improving the products, services, and software with the help of code analytics. In simple terms, a Technical Analyst bridges the role of IT and business while improving the company's overall efficiency.

Resource Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and support complex technical configurations and coding of customized solution components including integrations with various major systems within the organization
  
• Analyze and document existing complex custom processes and propose options for streamlining existing code/configuration, if necessary
  
• Solve complex technical problems, track and provide various solution options with impact analysis.
  
• Formulate and define specifications for software applications or modifies and maintain existing applications using engineering releases
  
• Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
  
• Work with Delivery and Operations teams to ensure smooth transition of changes to production environment.
  
• Participate in the development of project QA test scenarios and test cases. Collaborate on testing activities with the development team to ensure all relevant stakeholder requirements are captured and acceptance criteria is satisfied. Perform other related duties as assigned or required, such as all aspects of User Acceptance Testing.
  

Knowledge & Skills

Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in development in a software development environment.

1. Integration Expertise

• Exposure and some hands on experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services stack of tools
  
• Exposure and some hands on experience with IBM Integration Bus/ACE/MQ stack of tools
  

2. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• Data Replication: Experience with synchronous and asynchronous replication techniques across datacenters, ensuring data consistency between production and disaster recovery sites.
  
• Failover/Failback Procedures: Practical experience executing failover and failback operations in high-availability environments, with emphasis on Hitachi storage integration.
  
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, strong analysis skills, experience in designing, developing, implementing testing .NET based business applications
  

3. Other Skills

• Experience as an application engineer/developer using .NET Frameworks, Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server
  
• Working knowledge or experience with Enterprise Workflow, case and queue management or automation solutions would be an asset.
  
• Strong working knowledge of networks, active directory, security practices and server infra-structure
  
• Solid operational support skills, including troubleshooting system health and communicating effectivity with business and other IT partners to define and resolve issues.
  
• Work impacts the improvement of organizational business/application systems, work flows, services and programs.
  
• Work allows for a variety of physical activities.
  
• Consists of several periods of intense focus while performing work activities such as checking and matching tables and requirements, creating process maps, deep dive of code and listening and observing to capture workflow processes.
  

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant analyst experience, demonstrating increasing responsibility, preferably in an IT project-based environment.
  
• Java and .net Coding Skills - Understanding of the software development lifecycle, strong analysis skills, experience in designing, developing, implementing testing .NET based business applications.
  
• Documentation - Analyze and document existing complex custom processes along with future state design.
  
• Integration experience- Exposure to integration process and design.
  
• Some experience working with Microsoft Azure Integration Services iPaaS tools design and development.
  
• Experience in Agile product development in Scrum, Kanban, and other methodologies as well as use of Jira & Confluence.
  
• Some experience with IBM Integration Bus/ACE/MQ stack of tools
