We are looking for a Store Manager for our Chinook location in Calgary. This is a contract role to cover the maternity leave. This will be a full-time role in our Store with a duration of 16 months.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Store Management:

· Provide exceptional service to our customers

· Maintain strong product knowledge

· Implement and maintain visual and merchandise disciplines to best serve our customers' needs and maximize sales

· Provide a store environment that is clean, and inviting to our customers

· Set daily targets and drive sales to reach corporate weekly and monthly goals

· Develop and execute store special events

· Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels

· Perform store opening and closing procedures

· Ensure the store complies with outlined safety policies and procedures

· Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of all store operations

· Effective communication with all levels of upper management

· Model the company culture and exemplify our shared values on a day-to-day basis.

Staff management:

• Assist with team recruitment
• Training, coaching and developing team members
• Manage staff scheduling and approve payroll
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example

Corporate:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports
• Suggest strategies to maximize overall store success
• Ensure that company policy and procedures are adhered to

Experience & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of retail management experience
• An exceptional communicator with the ability to effectively communicate and receive feedback in the moment
• Self-motivated with a high level of confidence
• Experience with opening new stores
• Experience in visual merchandising
• Proven leadership and recruiting skills
• Proven experience in retail operational excellence
• Results-oriented and process-driven, accountable with high expectations of self and team
• Flexibility to work on the weekend or evenings as needed
