REPORTS TO: Manger, Coffee ShopCorporate Lead, Volunteer Services DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible SALARY: $15.60 per hourQUALIFICATIONS:- Current Safe Food Handling Certification, or a willingness to obtain this certificateEXPERIENCE:- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff and patients- Ability to operate with a high level of independence, sound judgment and decision-making skills- An understanding/experience with POS (point of sale) and cash register proceduresSKILLS AND ABILITIES:- To liaise with customers ensuring they are greeted with a smile and a helping hand- Conduct and present oneself in a professional manner- Be able to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HPHA's policy- Be reliable, and flexible - Adapt to change- Be a team player and take direction from lead staff.- Be health and safety conscious and WHMIS knowledgeablePlease be advised that we are no longer accepting emailed or paper-based resumes.
