The Role

Trindent Consulting is seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day management of our office and building facilities. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports employee productivity and company growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic setting, balances routine tasks with larger projects, and takes pride in maintaining a well-functioning workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the cleanliness and general orderliness of all office and building premises.
  • Oversee daily office upkeep, including kitchen cleanliness, restocking inventory, and garbage disposal.
  • Maintain office plants and monitor interior aesthetics to support a vibrant and healthy work atmosphere.
  • Address maintenance needs and support building-wide operations.
  • Serve as a liaison for tenant relations, ensuring timely communication and collaboration with tenants when applicable.
  • Manage and maintain building security systems, including the assignment and deactivation of security cards and the functionality of security cameras.
  • Execute and manage facilities-related projects such as renovations, roof repairs, and minor constructionworking directly with contractors and vendors.
  • Perform basic repairs and improvements (e.g., touch-up painting, assembling furniture and appliances).
  • Track inventory and order supplies for kitchen and facility needs to ensure availability without overstocking.
  • Contribute to emergency preparedness plans and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years experience in facilities management and building maintenance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and contractors.
  • Experience performing basic repair tasks (painting, furniture assembly, small appliance setup).
  • Experience using and managing security and access control systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in dealing with cross-functional teams and external service providers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools is a plus.
  • Ability to lift, move, or transport light equipment, furniture, and office supplies as needed.
