Were a locally owned, community-focused grocery store inGibsons, and were looking for a dependable, early-risingBakery Clerkto join our team full-time. If you enjoy working independently, love the idea of filling the store with the smell of fresh-baked goods, and take pride in keeping things clean and organized, this could be the perfect fit for you!

You'llcomplete the baking process for premium frozen and par-baked items, using commercial ovens to achieve perfect results, while also handling packaging, merchandising andordering responsibilities.

What Youll Do:

• Bake frozen and par-baked products according to schedule and standards
• Package baked goods attractively and accurately label them
• Stock and merchandise bakery displays, rotating product for freshness
• Place regular product orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels
• Maintain a clean, food-safe work area and follow health regulations
• Greet and assist customers with questions or special requests
• Work closely with the department manager and store team
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet throughout early morning shifts
• Start shifts early (6:007:00 AM depending on store needs)

What Were Looking For:

• Reliability and comfort with early morning shifts
• A self-starter who works well independently and stays on task
• Strong attention to cleanliness, quality, and food safety
• Comfort operating bakery equipment like ovens and slicers (training provided)
• A team player who takes pride in their work and shows up ready to help
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Experience in a bakery or food retail setting is an asset, but not required
