We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Human Resources team as:
Human Resources Manager
We are seeking a strategic, people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead and support a wide range of HR initiatives that drive employee engagement, performance, and organizational success. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings a balanced approach to people management, compliance, and culture-building. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Human Resources who is located at our head office in Chattanooga TN
Key Activities & Responsibilities
· Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives,
· Lead employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution initiatives,
· Support recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and talent retention strategies,
· Oversee compensation, benefits, and rewards programs,
· Ensure compliance with employment laws, site / corporate policies, and human resources best practices,
· Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs,
· Provide coaching and support to managers and employees,
· Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives,
· Work within the HCM database (Oracle) and ADP (Workforce Now) to on-board new employees, develop reports and act as an employee resource on system functions,
· Use HR data and metrics to inform and guide decision-making,
· Lead employee training and development initiatives to support growth, engagement, and career progression through the Astec Learning portal or outside training partners.
· Lead employee engagement initiatives and site celebrations.

To be successful in this role you have:
· A post-secondary education in Human Resources, Bustiness administration, or a related field.
· A minimum of five years' related experience in Human Resources including leadership roles,
· Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
· Proven experience handling sensitive employee relations issues
· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of confidentiality and integrity
· HR certification as a CHRP / CHRL.
· Previous experience working with HCM software (Oracle preferred) and ADP.
