Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 per year

Purpose:
StocksysContent and Copy Specialist will craft thoughtful, engaging, and impactful content across all marketing channels. From social to email, blog, and landing pages, this role is central to shaping our brand voice and driving strategic storytelling. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can ideate and execute, switch gears between big-picture planning and hands-on writing, and thrives in a remote-first, collaborative environment.

The Content and Copy Specialist role also goes beyond copywriting; it is someone whos tapped into the creative worldsomeone who understands the language of designers and visual thinkers, and who can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content. The role will help guide our marketing messaging when it needs to be sharp, when it needs to be expressive, and when it needs to challenge convention.

Hours: This is a full-time position at 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day. Typical office hoursare 9:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m., Monday to Friday (or in agreement with Team Lead). Overtime may be required aspart of annual salary. Allconditions of employment will be in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act.

Compensation: $60,000 to $80,000 per year

Technical Competencies:

  • 3+ years in content marketing, copywriting, advertising or related field (agency or premium B2B brand in-house creative experience a plus)
  • A strong portfolio of creative projects
  • Deep familiarity with the creative industry, and a sophisticated understanding of its audience
  • Fluent in social media strategy and execution
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to apply them meaningfully
  • Data-aware; able to interpret content performance and pivot accordingly
  • Proficient in platforms like WordPress, HubSpot, Hootsuite, Asana, LinkedIn, Instagram

Responsibilities:

  • Creative Copywriting
    • Write and edit engaging, on-brand copy for social media, marketing emails, blog posts, campaigns, and landing pages
    • Uphold and evolve Stocksys brand voice across all touchpoints
    • Translate ideas and concepts into clear, compelling content that resonates with a global creative audience
  • Social Media Strategy & Management
    • Own the social media calendar and execution across platforms
    • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop innovative and engaging content
    • Monitor trends and opportunities to keep Stocksy relevant and inspiring in the cultural conversation
  • Content Planning & Publishing
    • Maintain a strategic content calendar aligned with broader marketing and business goals
    • Oversee the scheduling, production and publishing of content across channels
    • Support the coordination of contributors or collaborators as needed
