Job Summary:

As the Sales Representative, you are responsible for building relationships, achieving and exceeding sales targets, maintaining high guest satisfaction scores and contributing to the overall success of the dealership's sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping our guests find the right vehicle that fits their needs and budget. You are innately experienced in using multiple digital platforms to interact with guests from e-leads through to advanced online and mobile applications. The role requires a guest-focused approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to close deals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guest Engagement: Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, assess their needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection process.

- Product Knowledge and Professional Development: Maintain up to date knowledge of all new and used vehicles in inventory. Stay informed about current promotions, financing options and industry trends. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

- Sales Process: Input all guest information into dealership CRM. Follow documented dealership sales process with every guest. Conduct test drives, present and demonstrate vehicle features and effectively negotiate pricing and terms to close sales.

- Follow up: Input and update the CRM to properly follow up with every unsold and sold guest. Maintain regular contact with prospective and existing customers through their preferred method of contact. Utilize the tools to build long-term relationships and encourage repeat and referral business.

- Social Media and Videos: Utilize social media platforms to engage with potential guests. Create and share videos when responding to e-leads or phone calls to enhance the buying experience.

- Documentation: Prepare and process all necessary paperwork accurately, including sales pricing, financing available and trade-in evaluations.

- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Managers, Finance team and other departments to ensure a smooth sales process and guest experiences.

- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized and appealing vehicle display on the lot. Ensuring all vehicles are clean and ready to show to our guests.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Previous experience in automotive sales is preferred but not required. A self-starter with a desire to succeed and can adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

- Skills: Strong digital understanding. Creative and solution driven. Exceptional guest experience and focus on guest satisfaction. Utilizes all tools available, from digital to CRM applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.

- Licensing: OMVIC certification and a valid driver's license with clean driving record.

- Attitude: Positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated. Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

The Sales Representative role will work primarily at the dealership, both in the showroom and on the lot. The role may require travelling to guests when required and does require some evening and weekends to accommodate guest's schedules.
