Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Steel Roofer with a strong background in both exposed fastener and standing seam steel roofing systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-quality roof installation, with the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install steel roofing systems, including both exposed fastener and standing seam panels
• Perform removal of existing roofing materials where necessary
• Install synthetic underlayments, strapping, and appropriate flashings
• Fabricate and install custom trims to specification
• Ensure all work is completed to code, manufacturer guidelines, and safety standards
• Diagnose and repair roofing issues as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients

Qualifications:

• experience installing steel roofing systems
• Proficient in both exposed fastener and standing seam applications
• Experience with cedar shake and/or Enviroshake is an asset
• Strong knowledge of roof ventilation, underlayments, and flashing techniques
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, including metal shears and brakes
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Fall protection and working at heights certifications (or willingness to obtain)
