(FISPAN) is an Enterprise SaaS FinTech company that allows banks to deploy embedded financial products and services to create a seamless banking connection for their corporate clients. Our product aims to provide instant scale and reach for banks who want to remove friction and add value by enabling their commercial banking clients to access banking services through their preferred ERP / accounting platform.
Founded in 2016 and headquartered in downtown Vancouver, FISPAN is on a mission to create the best product in the FinTech industry and fundamentally change the way that companies bank. Responsibilities
- Experienced QA Engineer
- Collaborate with product teams to lead testing efforts from start to finish for new and existing features.
- Quickly understand the existing platform and augment the testing framework to support current and future functionalities.
- Design and implement robust automated testing frameworks using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress, ensuring high throughput, performance, and KPI compliance.
- Create and execute test plans for frontend applications built with React and Svelte.
- Deliver automated, reliable, and comprehensive test coverage for all features.
- Monitor, maintain, and support the delivered features by proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Work with support teams to lead incident investigations and drive remediation efforts.
- Propose innovative testing solutions to enhance the platform's stability and scalability.
- Participate in code and design reviews, providing critical feedback on testability and potential issues.
- Bonus points for experience in accounting software or banking applications.
- Familiarity with frontend or full-stack development is a plus.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling for running and maintaining E2E tests.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
- 45 years of experience as a QA engineer with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficient in testing frontend technologies, particularly JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Playwright-based testing systems.
- Strong experience with BDD frameworks for writing and managing test cases.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling to run and maintain E2E tests.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain automation test suites for functional and regression testing.
- Familiarity with testing APIs and integrating external systems into the testing framework.
- Strong understanding of modern testing methodologies and tools, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
- Nice to have experience working with ERPs (e.g. Netsuite or Quickbooks Online)
- Experience with cloud platforms and technologies like AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools.

Compensation Package
FISPAN believes in an atmosphere and culture when innovation can flourish, collaboration and teamwork are valued and transparency is at the core of it all. We want our employees to see how the ideas they help generate today have an impact on how we do business tomorrow.With that, the hiring salary range for this position is $98,040-$105,620 annually; the base pay offered is based on comparable market data from companies of similar employee size, revenue and location. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive semi-annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
