Job Summary

As one of our Mascot Performers for the Belleville Senators Hockey Club you assume a part-time role of working and a variety of events as requested around the Bay of Quinte region as a visible and recognizable piece of our organization. We are seeking and engaging and energetic individual who is passionate about helping to bring our brand to fans of all ages.

Reports to: Manager, Business Operations

This is a part-time, on-call position.

Potential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Represent the Belleville Senators as Belly (mascot) in a professional manner
  • Attend events around region as requested
  • Show energy, enthusiasm and creativity at all times while interacting with fans
  • Help to bring a memorable experience to individuals at all events
  • Act as point of contact at events, ensure materials are prepared and refilled to transport to each event

Qualifications

  • Displays a positive and outwardly friendly attitude and show passion for entertaining
  • Strong nonverbal communication skills
  • Must be minimum 18 years old by start date
  • Must have access to vehicle to attend events and transport mascot suit if required
  • Able to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Must be physically fit enough to work under potentially physically demanding conditions
  • Able to walk, stand for extended periods of time in different conditions and locations
  • Previous mascot experience or other related experience will be considered an asset
  • Must show strong dependability and punctuality
