Minimum Requirements:

• 15+ years experience in Seismic Data Processing
• 10+ years of Depth Imaging experience of land and/or marine & OBC seismic data
• Minimum B.Sc. Geophysics or a related field
• Familiarity with the GeoDepth software package an asset
• Position is based in Calgary and is not eligible for relocation expenses
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
• Must be fluent in English

Responsibilities:

• Must have a thorough understanding of and the ability to work in all phases of depth imaging, including gather conditioning, horizon interpretation, velocity analysis, tomography updating and mis-tie analysis.
• Ability to identify complex geophysical problems, and to assist in development of solutions.
• Execute and assist in design of high quality, efficient processing flows with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate as needed with Project Managers regarding resource needs for planning and execution.
• Work effectively within existing project plans, using resources efficiently to meet timing and budgetary goals.
• Collaborate as needed with production team members, for efficient production throughput and knowledge transfer.
• Ability to engage with clients and to make technical recommendations.
• Ability to handle multiple Depth Imaging projects simultaneously.
