Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with financial advisors and their teams.
- Collaborate with internal partners, including Business Development Managers and Sales Associates, to drive advisor engagement and support.
- Utilize CIGAM's CRM platform to manage activities, track progress, and optimize territory coverage.
- Effectively communicate CIGAM's investment philosophy and solutions in client-facing scenarios.
- Represent CIGAM at regional and national industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Continuously improve product knowledge, sales strategies, and business development skills.
- Monitor advisor sentiment through Environics Advisor Perception surveys and maintain high rankings.
- Partner with National Accounts and the BDM team to execute firm-wide initiatives and advisor strategies.
- Strategically manage your calendar and scheduling to prioritize high-impact activities and meet activity goals.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience within the financial services industry.
Education
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CSC, CFP, CIM, CFA, or CAIA preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
- Deep understanding of the asset management industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first approach.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to develop creative, client-focused solutions.
Working Conditions
- Travel required for meetings, events, and conferences.
- Occasional evening and weekend availability required for marketing or client events.
