Position: Independent Contractor – Footcare Nurse (LMC Vaughan location)
This is a rare opportunity to join an elite clinical team trusted by thousands of patients and referring physicians across Canada. As a Footcare Nurse at LMC Vaughan, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care while working in one of the country's most respected healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive footcare services including assessments, treatment, and patient education.
  • Manage a diverse caseload with an emphasis on diabetic foot health and prevention.
  • Work collaboratively with a highly experienced, interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Uphold best practices in sterilization and infection prevention and control.
Qualifications:
  • Current, unrestricted registration with your provincial or territorial nursing regulatory body.
  • Advanced Footcare Nurse certification and relevant clinical experience.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage.
  • Understanding of:
    • CAFCN National Competencies for Advanced Nursing Foot Care in Canada.
    • IPAC Canada guidelines on instrument reprocessing and infection control.
    • Provincial scope of nursing practice and confidentiality standards.
  • Completion of approved reprocessing/sterilization training (PHO, CSA, IPAC Canada, CDMR) considered a strong asset.
  • RNAO or RPNAO membership
