Inventory Costing Administrator - 6 months contract

Position Summary

The Inventory Costing Administrator primarily matches supplier invoices with Purchase Orders (PO's) to verify quantities, pricing, and special pricing program availability.

We're looking for self-sufficient, motivated Inventory Costing Admin for our Surrey location at 8183 130th Street who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Match supplier invoices with Purchase Orders (PO's) and processing for costing on a timely basis
  • Verify quantities, pricing, special pricing programs including Buys and Rebates
  • Adjust invoices for price and/or quantity variances
  • Allocate freight and duty/brokerage costs
  • Process inter-company stock transfers
  • Analyze and respond to costing requirements of the billing administrators

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years costing experience in a multi-branch and multi-currency environment
  • Experience working with vendors
  • Knowledge of accounts payable cycle
  • Proficiency in Excel and Office 365
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Experience working in high volume/transaction environment
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Be reliable and a team player
