THE ROLE

Our client, a leader in industrial manufacturing, is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Millwright to support maintenance operations at their Brantford facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a mechanical background who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment
• Inspect equipment returning from job sites to identify issues or maintenance needs
• Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, servicing, and parts usage
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and manage parts inventory
• Plan and acquire spare and wear parts for equipment
• Occasionally travel to off-site locations for technical support or training
• Participate in equipment inspections and evaluations of third-party repairs
• Ensure full compliance with workplace safety regulations and use of PPE

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a millwright or maintenance mechanic
• Experience in an industrial setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Millwright certification is an asset
• Skilled with mechanical troubleshooting and confident using tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Willingness to travel occasionally for field work or vendor support
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
