POSITION SUMMARY:

Carpenters will support our residential and commercial renovation projects across the GTA. The ideal candidates will be responsible for a variety of carpentry duties including framing, formwork, and finishing work as part of full-suite turnovers and interior upgrades. This role requires strong technical ability, precision, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Successful candidates will contribute to the creation of stylish, functional spaces while occasionally assisting with general construction tasks as needed.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand specifications and determine materials and measurements.
• Prepare accurate layouts using measuring tools, ensuring alignment with local building codes.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and join materials such as wood, engineered wood products, and lightweight framing components.
• Construct subfloors, build interior walls, and install framing and supports for kitchens, bathrooms, and other room upgrades.
• Install doors, stairs, cabinetry, trim, mouldings, and other finish components with high attention to detail.
• Perform renovations and repairs on residential and commercial units, including tasks related to demolition, structural reinforcement, and cosmetic improvement.
• Supervise and provide guidance to apprentices and junior workers on-site.
• Assist with estimating materials and labour when required for project planning and costing.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience: 1 year of work experience as a Carpenter
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
