On behalf of our client we're looking for Commercial Senior Estimator who is responsible for reviewing, adjusting, and preparing estimates to facilitate construction projects. The Project manager is directly responsible for completing projects per schedule, scope, contract, and budget.

• Review, estimate and manage price change orders for active projects.
• Prepare documents for bid and proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Submit requests for information (RFIs) to architects, engineers and/or general contractors to clarify scope of work and drawing details as necessary.
• Work closely with customer representatives to ensure project success.
• Maintain construction documents to ensure accurate billing and timely submittals.

Job Requirements:

• Construction Engineering Technology Diploma or Degree.
• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience for commercial drywall, preferably working with multi- million-dollar projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial buildings and mid- or high-rise residential construction.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) and estimating software (On Screen, Quick Bid, Bluebeam).
• Developing and verbally explaining information to superiors, peers, and subordinates in a well thought out, logical, and effective manner.
• Being able to work under pressure, making decisions even with conflicting or incomplete information.
• Understanding and interpreting policy and procedure in situations where immediate response is expected.
