Key responsibilities:
Chairside:
- Assist endodontist during procedures, including root canals and CBCT imaging.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
- Take diagnostic x-rays (PA, bitewing, CBCT).
- Maintain accurate clinical records.
- Monitor and restock clinical supplies.
Front desk (administrative):
- Greet and check in patients.
- Manage scheduling and patient communications.
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims.
- Collect payments and provide receipts.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally.
- Light cleaning as needed.
Requirements:
- Level II Dental Assistant Certificate (HARP certified).
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Strong organizational and computer skills (experience with dental software is a plus).
- Willingness to learn and grow in a specialty practice.
