About the Job:Working in our award-winning flagship showroom, the Project Coordinator is the key liaison for the Design-Sales team in coordinating customer orders. They will greet clients in our showroom, coordinate orders and logistics for cabinets, parts, accessories, countertops, and installation. They will also assist with organizing special projects/events and help maintain our showroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination:
  • Process customers payments.
  • Submit, schedule, track and receive orders for cabinets and all peripherals.
  • Coordinate deliveries and installations.
  • Continuously monitor customers' projects and problem solve where necessary.
  • Coordinate regular supplier meetings.
  • working closely with the team in Langley and liaise with merits head office (located in Surrey, BC).
Administration & Customer Service:
  • Greet clients, monitor the phones, and web leads, set up meetings for the designers.
  • Maintain files and paperwork.
  • Receive and process mail and emails.
  • Ongoing communications with manufacturers, suppliers/reps, and installers.
  • Generate PO's, accept and process received goods. Keep back storage room organized.
  • Help maintain showroom – keeping displays up to date, tidy, and stocked.
Marketing:
  • Support marketing department through coordinating showroom events with dealers, interior designers, contractors, and installers.
  • Possible social media collaboration.

Candidate Requirements:
  • 2+ years of coordination should be considered an advantage.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience should be considered an advantage.
  • Strong Project and Time Management Skills.
  • Detail oriented, focused, and able to manage multi tasks with deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills. (Microsoft Office 365, HubSpot CRM, Accounting Systems, Project Management tools)
  • Effective Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Works Well in a Team Environment and maintains a Professional Image.
  • Kitchen cabinet industry experience is considered an asset.
  • The Project Coordinator may perform other duties as delegated by Management.
  • The candidate needs top organizational and communication skills, relevant experience is advantageous.
Compensation: Annual salary range based on experience: $55,000-$65,000
