Summary of the Role
The (Appian) CICD Programmer Analyst II will contribute to the development and maintenance of automated build and deployment pipelines for integration environments. The incumbent will collaborate with Senior Programmer Analysts to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions. This role involves working with Mulesoft, AWS, and CI/CD tools to support enterprise-level integration initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Mulesoft technologies.
- Integrate security scans, automated testing, and deployment tools within CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement and refine DevOps best practices.
- Create and maintain infrastructure and deployment scripts for integration platforms.
- Prepare technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and support training activities.
Core Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience establishing CI/CD pipelines using Mulesoft and AWS DevOps.
- Proficiency in integrating static/dynamic code scans and automated testing within pipelines.
- Strong scripting and development skills related to AWS/Mulesoft infrastructure.
- Experience with API design, deployment, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of enterprise applications and integration patterns.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with AWS and open-source platforms such as Tomcat, MySQL, Mongo, etc.
- Background in load balancing solutions for application scalability and high availability.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.
- Strong working knowledge of technologies such as Java, Python, JSON, SOAP/REST, and XML.
Terms
This is a full-time permanent role with an anticipated start in July 2025 and a term extending until December 31, 2026. The role follows a hybrid work model, with onsite attendance required approximately once per month or less. Compensation includes a salary range of $96,000–$115,000 CAD, with additional non-salary compensation details to be determined. Reference checks will be required as part of the hiring process.
