Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Sales Lead - Crypto - this is a fully remote role in US/Canada.

We are a VC-backed on-chain financial infrastructure company on a mission to upgrade global financial markets through 24/7 instant settlement. We're building the next generation of financial rails by bridging traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralised finance (DeFi) in a transparent, efficient, and highly scalable way.

Our first product is Multiliquid — an institutional-grade smart contract protocol that enables deep interoperability and liquidity across tokenised financial assets and stablecoins. As the flagship product of, Multiliquid sets the foundation for our broader vision: replatforming the entire financial system on 10x better infrastructure, powered by blockchain.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Sales Lead to drive institutional adoption of Multiliquid. This is a hands-on, full-cycle sales role focused on acquiring and managing clients including trading desks, exchanges, corporate treasuries, stablecoin issuers, crypto platforms, fintechs, platform businesses, TradFi firms and other capital allocators that can benefit from instant access to and convertibility between risk-free, yield bearing assets and deep liquidity. As our first sales hire, you'll play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, building long-term client relationships, and laying the groundwork for a scalable sales organization. This role is ideal for someone who can translate technical value into commercial outcomes, and who wants to help build the future of institutional DeFi from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Sales Execution

    • Develop and execute a direct sales strategy targeting institutional clients across crypto and traditional finance.

    • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to product demos, negotiations, and closing.

    • Identify liquidity pain points and positioning opportunities for Multiliquid across client workflows.

  • Relationship Building

    • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at trading firms, exchanges, asset managers, foundations, stablecoin issuers, stablecoin payment orchestrators, fintechs, platforms and TradFi firms.

    • Understand client-specific use cases around cash management, capital efficiency, and liquidity management.

    • Act as a trusted point of contact before, during, and after onboarding.

  • Product Education & Advocacy

    • Articulate Multiliquid's core value proposition as the neutral liquidity coordination layer, not a blockchain, but the rails that connect them with real world financial use cases.

    • Simplify complex technical concepts and communicate how the protocol enables seamless asset flows, composability, and yield access.

    • Lead demos and client-facing sessions in partnership with product and engineering teams.

  • Market Intelligence & Lead Generation

    • Conduct research to identify high-value prospects and emerging opportunities in institutional onchain finance.

    • Attend events, build a network in the institutional DeFi and digital asset ecosystem, and generate qualified leads.

    • Share market insights with internal teams to inform product development and strategic positioning.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with product, marketing, and engineering to ensure the sales narrative is aligned with roadmap and messaging.

    • Provide structured feedback on customer needs, integration requirements, and onboarding friction to inform the development of Multiliquid and other future products.

    • Track pipeline progress and report on KPIs using CRM tools.

  • Leadership Potential (Future Scope)

    • As the team grows, help recruit and mentor additional sales talent and formalize sales processes.

    • Build repeatable systems for scaling revenue, from playbooks to partnership frameworks.

    • Contribute strategically to expanding our client base across new verticals and jurisdictions.

Qualifications

  • Experience

    • 5+ years in B2B sales or business development, ideally within financial services, blockchain, crypto infrastructure, fintech or B2B SaaS.

    • Proven track record of closing complex deals with institutional clients or high-value accounts.

    • Experience selling to or partnering with trading desks, exchanges or corporate treasury teams is a plus.

  • Sales & Communication Skills

    • Strong ability to generate leads, manage a pipeline, and close deals independently.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills able to bridge technical and business audiences.

    • Clear, persuasive storyteller with a talent for building trust and driving urgency.

  • Industry & Technical Understanding

    • Familiarity with DeFi, stablecoins, tokenized assets, or digital treasury management.

    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with high autonomy.

    • Able to synthesize product knowledge and market insights into tailored pitches.

Compensation & Package

Base Salary + Commission & Equity (Structure is TBD on a call with the Co Founders)
