Reporting to the Production Foreman, the successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Field team to monitor and optimize well production, pipeline systems and facilities as well as troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:
• Adhere to and engage in safety protocols, including hazard identification, equipment lock-out and emergency response and comply with environmental, safety and regulatory requirements, taking corrective action as required
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs and servicing
• Identify and implement opportunities to increase production through optimization of wells, gathering systems and facilities
• Responsible for the start up or shut down of wells, facilities and equipment working closely with our IOC (Integrated Operations Center)
• Communicate with operations, maintenance, construction, engineering and management staff
• Conduct daily accurate production accounting and ensure daily/weekly/monthly reports are accurately completed and archived
• Manage work/activities on your sites to ensure safe and reliable work execution
Qualifications:
- A recent graduate with an Engineering Degree or Technology Diploma.
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Strong computer skills.
- Willing to work on-call after-hours coverage for facilities or wells may occasionally be required
- Safety sensitive position; candidate must be willing to undergo pre-employment screening including drug and alcohol testing, drivers abstract check and if applicable, criminal background check.
