Our client is looking for a highly skilled Controller to join a fantastic organization for a 3+ month contract in Vaughan. If you're someone who thrives in a hands-on, technical, and cross-functional environment, this could be the perfect opportunity!

Responsibilities of the Controller is as follows but not limited to:

  • Provides for the control and editing of all company orders, to ensure conformity to established policies and procedures, and to facilitate data control and retrieval of records generated by these orders.
  • Establishes and administers national and international company tax policies and procedures.
  • Supervises or coordinates the preparation of reports to national and international government agencies.
  • Assures protection for the assets of the business through internal control, internal auditing, and assuring proper insurance coverage.
  • Assists Marketing in establishing and maintaining product pricing policies.
  • Conduct basic to complex process and data analysis. Compile and analyze information, design and prepare spreadsheet and data queries.
  • Support with the development and tracking of key business metrics.
  • Review and maintain the Company cash flow, including forecasting, planning, and management.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis of reporting requests from various departments and stakeholders.

TMGCT


  • Masters Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • Accounting CPA designation.
  • Self motivated and self directed.
  • Experience in working with an International Manufacturing company, is a strong asset.
  • Superior knowledge in MS Excel, creating and working with complex worksheets (macros, pivot tables).
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system, and SQL a strong asset.
  • High-level financial modeling & reporting.
  • Assist with new system/account integration.
  • Strong communication & collaboration across teams.

  • Inventory experience is an asset.

  • Ideal for someone from a smaller company who can roll up their sleeves and contribute beyond a single function.
