We're Looking for a Class 5 Driver to Join Our Team!
As a Class 5 Driver at Cascadia Metals, you'll play a vital role in our operations. We seek a motivated and reliable team member who thrives on responsibility and teamwork. This role is more than just driving, it's about contributing to a collaborative environment where your dedication directly impacts our success.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Overtime: Required when necessary, including short-notice assignments
- Communication: Strong communication skills are essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety regulations relevant to your role.
- Maintain the integrity of products during transit.
- Keep your company vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Represent Cascadia professionally to our customers.
- Resolve any daily operational issues efficiently.
- Communicate with team members and stakeholders professionally.
- Complete standard drivers' daily logbooks as required.
- Handle paperwork for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Perform pre-trip inspections on your vehicle.
- Only undertake daily trips, no overnight travel.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and loading/unloading trucks.
- Maintain equipment and ensure the overall upkeep of the property.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- A valid Class 5 license is required; a Class 3 license is preferred for cross-training opportunities.
- Submit a clean driver's abstract.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.
- Proven leadership abilities.
- Attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
