As the Utility Electrician, you'll support our critical production operations. You'll inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and electrical codes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including transformers, breakers, relays, and switchgear
• Troubleshoot and maintain automated packaging and production equipment
• Lead and assist in the planning and execution of electrical installations
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini hoes, man-lifts, and zoom-booms
• Ensure accurate documentation of working using maintenance software
• Adhere to safety and food safety and food safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and food-safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician certificate
• Minimum high school diploma required
• Significant industrial experience, preferably in a food processing environment.
• Able to read and interpret facility blueprints and equipment technical manuals
• Computer literate and able to be effective and efficient with various computer applications
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor environments.

Hours of Work:

The position is Monday-Friday 8-hours/day. However, there may be a need for overtimes and changing shifts as well as fluctuations in schedules including switching to 12-hour shifts including weekends and nights as needed.
