DMC Recruitment Group is proud to partner with Homes by Lake Country in their search for an Operations Manager.
This leader will be looked upon to take charge of construction and retail teams just outside of beautiful Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. In this role, you'll lead the charge on residential, RTM (ready-to-move), and agricultural builds while working alongside a passionate team of tradespeople, sales pros, and community-first leaders.
What You'll Do:
- Own the full build cycle: Oversee everything from site setup to completion across RTM homes, agricultural structures, and new home builds.
- Lead an exceptional team: Inspire and manage a crew of team leads across construction, installations, estimating, and retail sales.
- Drive operational excellence: Align construction activities with broader retail goals, optimize workflows, and foster a culture of safety and innovation.
- Collaborate at the top: Work closely with the Director of Home and Building Solutions to shape the future of our building division.
- Champion safety and precision: Maintain rigorous safety, quality, and project tracking standards—every time, every job.
- Create legendary member experiences: Engage with customers and community members at every touchpoint with a commitment to service and pride.
- A construction pro with 15+ years of hands-on construction field experience, including 5+ years in general contracting leadership.
- Comfortable leading multiple site crews, managing timelines, allocating trades, and navigating complex projects.
- Skilled in contract administration, blueprint interpretation, and Canadian building codes.
- A natural team builder who can mentor, coach, and develop high-performing construction professionals.
- Business-minded and results-driven: you understand margins, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Tech-comfortable with tools like MS Office and (ideally) lean construction processes.
