This position will play a crucial part in ensuring our projects run smoothly and acting as the touch point for our Toronto and New York teams. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Coordinator position will:
- provide project support through all stages of a complex, multi-material architectural feature project from design to installation
- liaise with project managers, clients, vendors, architects, designers, and other stakeholders
- prepare and review contracts
- create and monitor schedules, resources plans, and tasks
- assist project management team in oversight of risk, budgets, cost forecasting, procurement, vendors, manufacturing, quality, installation, and site coordination
- prepare and maintain files, correspondence, and documents
- act as the liaison between New York and Toronto and with the accounting, production, purchasing, logistics, and fabrication teams
ABOUT YOU
- a recent graduate in architecture, engineering, construction management, or similar, or equivalent industry experience
- a desire to take the first step into project management
- strong computer skills, especially MS Excel and design software
- familiarity with building codes and standards
- experience working with construction documents, detailing, digital modeling, and graphics
- a background in fabrication is an asset
- first-rate organization skills
- process driven with flexibility to adapt to unique situations
- curiosity and a willingness to learn
